By Taxi:

Metered taxis operate to Prague Airport. Two companies have the concession of the airport's taxi ranks, they are FIX TAXI and Taxi Praha. The former counts with an on-demand App which allows you to request a taxi when you need it.

By Bus:

The connection between Prague City Centre and Václav Havel Airport Prague is provided by public transport bus lines which operate at regular few-minute intervals. To ensure the quickest arrival to the airport, passengers are recommended to take bus 119 (Nádraží Veleslavín – Terminal 1/Terminal 2) connecting to Metro Line A, or bus 100 (Zličín – Terminal 1/Terminal 2) connecting to Metro Line B.

Public transport bus rides are subject to regular Prague Integrated Public Transport Fares. Tickets may be purchased from ticket machines located at the entry to Metro Line A or B, at the Prague Public Transit Company (DPP) counter, or at the DPP information centre. From Prague Airport to the city a 60 minute ticket would be necessary and costs $1.40 (CZK 32).

By Train:

PRG is connected to Prague Main Railway Station (Praha hlavní nádraží), from where a direct transfer to train services running to destinations within the Czech Republic and abroad is possible. This connection is provided by Airport Express buses from the local Railway company Ceske Drahy which stop directly outside the main railway station building. Tickets can be bought at the Visitor Centre at Arrival Halls, Prague Public Transit Company Counter, from the Czech Railways’ Website, and from Bus Drivers.

CarSharing:

Car sharing is also possible thanks to Car4Way with 1000 cars available 24/7 through the mobile app and the CAR4WAY smart card with prices starting at $13.20 (CZK 300).

The Comfort Option, a Prebooked Professional Driver

Prebooked through Mozio, a professional driver from local partner Pragtransfer waits for you at the arrivals hall with a sign with your name on it for an hour after your plane lands allowing you to quickly find your ride and skip the lines.

• On a private van for up to 8 passengers with 1 piece of luggage each from $30.

For larger groups, local partner ICS, Book A Limo offers the same service with 30 minutes wait time on a private bus for 14 passengers from $268 or 21 passengers from $312.

The Frugal Option, Trains and Express Buses

PRG is connected to Prague Main Railway Station (Praha hlavní nádraží), from where a direct transfer to train services running to destinations within the Czech Republic and abroad is possible. This connection is provided by Airport Express buses from the local Railway company Ceske Drahy which stop directly outside the main railway station building. Tickets can be bought at the Visitor Centre at Arrival Halls, Prague Public Transit Company Counter, from the Czech Railways’ Website, and from Bus Drivers. The ticket for the Airport Express bus can be bought from the bus driver. They are non-transferable and start at $2.65 (CZK 60) for adults and $1.32 (CZK 30) for children between the age of 6 through 14 (free for children under 6 years of age).

Prebooked through Mozio, RegioJet connects Prague Airport Terminal 1 and 2 with Prague Florenc Central Bus Station for $3 with buses departing every hour.

The Speedy Option, Prague Metro Network

A combination of bus ride and metro with a ride time of approximately 15 minutes allows you to connect the airport with downtown Prague depending on traffic. Service is provided by public transport bus lines which operate at regular few-minute intervals. Take the bus 119 (Nádraží Veleslavín – Terminal 1/Terminal 2) connecting to Metro Line A, or the bus 100 (Zličín – Terminal 1/Terminal 2) connecting to Metro Line B.

If you're visiting a nearby city, RegioJet coaches may be the most suitable option to reach PRG. Regiojet buses in the direction to Prague Florenc or Karlovy Vary stop directly under Terminal 1 (under the footbridge leading to Terminal 2). • On Terminal 1 head out to standpoint number 8 behind the bus station.
• On Terminal 2 head out to the second floor and exit to the parking lot in front of exit E.

Pickup is also possible from Terminal 3 in front of the main entrance of the parking.

Terminals & Airlines @ Each Terminal:

Prague Airport has two main passenger terminals, two general aviation terminals, as well as a cargo facility. Most flights depart Prague Airport from the North Terminals (Terminal 1 and 2). The South Terminals (Terminal 3 and 4) handle a few irregular flights, as well as VIP flights, special flights and small aircraft.

• Terminal 1 is used for flights outside the Schengen Area; it was opened in 1968 and rebuilt in 1997, it includes concourses A and B.

• Terminal 2 is used for flights within the Schengen area; it was opened on 17 January 2006, it includes concourses C and D.

• Terminal 3 is used for private and charter flights; it was opened in 1997.

• Terminal 4 is used exclusively for VIP flights and state visits; it is the oldest part of the airport which was opened on 5 April 1937.

There are also two freight terminals, Cargo Terminal 1 is operated by Menzies Aviation Czech while Cargo Terminal 2 is operated by Skyport.

Lounges

There is a number of VIP lounges at Prague Airport depending on which terminal you're traveling.

On Terminal 1:

• VIP Service Club Continental (open 24/7) offers a luxurious lounge with all-inclusive refreshments, private security screening, check-in and luggage deposit, private carpark. Access starts at $193 (CZK 4400) when booked in advance or $290 (CZK 6600) when booked with less than 24 hours notice. Booking must be made online through VIP Service Club Continental or emailing vip.service@prg.aero.

• Mastercard Lounge (Open from 5:30am to 11pm) available to passengers traveling outside the Schengen Zone, this lounge offers Refreshments, Showers, Office space, TV, Wi-Fi, newspapers, and more. Access is restricted to 2 hours and starts at $31.65 (CZK 720) per person older than 3 years. While the access can be purchased on site, it is recommended to book in advance through the Mastercard Lounge.

On Terminal 2:

• Raiffeisenbank Lounge open from 5am to 10pm and accessible for passengers traveling within the Schengen Zone. Access starts at $37.36 (CZK 850) and can be booked directly through Raiffeisenbank.
• Erste Premier Lounge open from 5am to 10pm and accessible for passengers traveling within the Schengen Zone. Access starts at $31.65 (CZK 720) and can be booked directly through Erste Premier .

Car Parking

Parking at Prague's airport is separated by the length of time you plan to stay in Short-Term Parking (Minutes or Hours) and Long-Term Parking (Days). Parking lots are located 1 to 3 minutes walking from either Terminal 1 or 2.

• Short-Term Parking (Minutes): The first 15 minutes of your stay are free of charge and then charged $4.40 (CZK 100) until the first 30 minutes have elapsed. Each half hour after that is charged at $4.40 (CZK 100).

• Short-Term Parking (Hours): Charged at $2.64 (CZK 60) per hour, the hourly parking has two options for you. The Economy parking cannot be booked in advance online and must be paid at the car park ticketing machine. The Comfort Option can be booked online in advance.

• Long-Term Parking (Days): The Smart Option offers covered parking (excepting the roof level) with video surveillance and costs $43.50 (CZK 990) for weekly intervals. The Comfort Option offers covered parking with video surveillance and costs $66 (CZK 1500) per week.

On top of Prague's Aelia Duty Free shop offering a selection of local and international products at a discounted rate, Prague Airport has a curated list of shops offering local products such as cosmetics (Manufaktura, Rituals), crystal products (Moser, Mila's, Cristiani Bohemia, Erpet), toys (Hamleys, Sparky's), and souvenirs (Blue Praha).
